Confrontation
2006

When I first began this series, I was researching the need for, and loss of, control in all aspects of life: mentally, socially and physically. As the work progressed, I became interested in developing a story of how an individual can lose themselves in the desire for and evasion of another person. And how the loss and gain of control between the two individuals can shape a relationship.

This body of work explores the powers of control in an intimate relationship. It shows the potential, need, avoidance and eventuality of confrontation.
